Heres the twist: it works within Instagram. You share the read out to Regrann, and from there you can save it. Its nice of magical, in a janky 2013 way.
I bearing in mind saved in imitation of 40 memes in an hour for a mysterious meme folder. Dont ask.

Now this one amazed me. Honestly, I thought it would wreck the minute I opened it. But no, it works... too well.

InsTake lets you keep images and stories and IGTVs (does anyone yet watch IGTV? no?). And it doesnt make you log in, which is kinda scarce these days.
The on your own catch? It started asking for weird permissions after the third use. Like, why pull off you obsession permission to my contacts, bro?
I deleted it and reinstalledworked good again. Sketchy? A bit. Effective? after that yes.

Its probably not even a legit company. Their about us page just says we are downloader. Okay. But somehow, this business downloads images in full res, without a watermark, and even gives you hashtags from the post. Likehow?
Ive been using it in the past January, mostly to keep recipes from food bloggers who herald later and subsequently vanish forever. No regrets.
Just maybe use a VPN. Feels safer.

Lets fracture the pattern a bit. Not every image savers are apps. SaveInsta.cc is a websiteand yes, it still works in 2025, thank you enormously much.

No installs, no shady permissions. You just glue the Instagram connect into the website and download. Its for that reason refreshingly simple, similar to using Google in 2004.
But its not perfect. Sometimes, it glitches past posts have merged images. And subsequent to it saved an image of a totally rotate post. Kinda spooky.
Still, on days as soon as my phone storage is full, I go here.

This one has the same premise as SaveInsta.cc, but a bit more attitude. The interface is all aggressive blacks and reds, and every grow old I use it, I tone once Im deed something illegal. (Im not... probably.)

Still, it works. Saved a bunch of art from rarefied illustrators that I wanted to reference later. 10/10 for usefulness. 4/10 for aesthetics.

Lets be genuine here: everything once Private in the name sounds sketchy. But curiosity got me.

It actually... works? You do have to log in, which I hate. But like you're in, it lets you browse Instagram inside the app and save stuff directly. taking into account an alternate dimension Instagram.
I used a dummy account just to be safe. most likely Im paranoid, most likely Im smart. Who knows.

Alright, confession: CloudySave isnt even upon the App Store. I found it upon Reddit, someone uploaded the APK. Its basically a Frankenstein of other apps. The UI is half-English, half-something else. One button just says CLICK GOOD.

But dang it, it worked. At least until it stopped.
Downloaded 12 pictures, subsequently my phone started heating stirring next a microwave. Deleted immediately.
Not recommending it, just sharing. For science.

Lets slow beside for a sec. I know this isnt a tech blog and Im not pretending to be a security expert. Im just a human who got weary of taking screenshots of images and cropping out the UI afterward a gremlin.
