As mentioned, Missile Swarm mimics that of the Northstar Titan from Titanfall 2. This allows you to mark a small section of the map with an array of red beacons, and a barrage of missiles will follow shortly after. This can be used every 30 seconds. Missiles will need to eject from Valkyrie’s gear and then move to the target location from overhead - meaning this is useless in areas with shallow ceilings, and you’ll need to be aware of how much clearance you have before using it. This might best be used to clear opponents out from behind cover, similar to a well-placed Thermite gren
Revenant is a terrifying champion whose very presence on the team is usually accompanied by character-to-character dialogue about the specter-assassin. Revenant's strengths are best used in team battles, where shutting down multiple enemies and giving teammates a second chance can turn the tide of the fight instantaneously . He's good both offensively and defensively, and his passive is very useful for quickly navigating the cliffs' tricky terrain stealth
[Ashley Reed] Well, that is something I think we want you to explore in the story, so I don't want to give any spoilers on that. Hey, it's so much better if you experience it in the game - way better. But yeah, we're definitely folding some existing characters, characters with connections to the legacy of Respawn the legacy of Titanfall into Apex, and we always love exploring, like: 'okay, if we introduce this element, what does that do? How does that affect characters who are connected to it? How do they feel about it? How do they confront that?' That's our bread and butter. That's the stuff we really like digging into and really like exploring, so we hope the fans feel similarly when they get to experience Arenas themsel
Valkyrie is a brand new Apex Legends character with a deep history that ties into Titanfall 2 . Even her abilities are inspired by the Northstar Titan , and for good reason. In this guide we’re going to break down everything you need to know about Valkyrie in Apex Legends patch notes Legends, including her backstory, her abilities, and the strategies you need to play as her in Apex Legends Season 9: Leg
Lifeline is particularly useful on King's Canyon for her unparalleled ability to support a team on her own. Even if the rest of the squad goes down in a sudden ambush, a smart lifeline can revive their teammates while continuing the fight and get them back to full health. Her tactical ability is very useful for a squad trying to recover after an assault, and her passive is easily the most useful in the game. However, be careful when using Lifeline's ultimate on King's Canyon specifica
Updated May 27, 2022, by Oliver VanDervoort: As the years have gone on, it should come as no surprise that there are still some new battle royale games coming out every so often. There are still the kings of the hill when talking about Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends, but there are other contenders in the genre that are starting to carve out their own little niche in the genre. it’s certainly not easy to stand out from the crowd. That’s likely why some of the new additions to the list are doing something quite a bit different than what people might expect from a battle royale game on X
There are essentially two ways to go after spawning, and from up high you’ll be able to see what path your opponents have taken. The best tactic is to spot them early, take shots to break shields, and then rush in with the t
Arenas is a new permanent mode that will sit alongside Battle Royale Trios , Duos , and Ranked . In Arenas you’ll face off against another team of three Legends in repeated gunfights across several maps, and the winner will be decided by whichever team learns to adapt to the opponent’s tactics and strateg
Things haven't always been rosy since the game launched, and it seems as if there have been more complaints than praise about the things that have been added to Warzone , especially over the last few months. However, while there have been some rather vocal complaints about Warzone it's still easily one of the most popular battle royales available on the Xbox. Of course, it will be interesting to see just what happens when the sequel to this game eventually h
[DK] I absolutely expect that there'll be follow up balance changes, but we have simple ways to balance the cost of abilities, such as how many you get for free and how often you can use your ultimate, that are Arenas specific. We've had to make some small changes to some abilities to make them make sense in Arenas, like Valkyrie doesn't go all the way up [when using her Ultimate], because the map isn't big enough for that. But in terms of balance, we tried to achieve the same balance state between Arenas and Battle Royale. Again, we've got lots of plans of what to do if something is on fire, or if something else becomes a problem, but right now, I honestly don't think anyone in the world knows what's going to happen. We have our data collection set up and we're ready to react to it. I hope we'll be in a world where there'll be a small spectrum of power that Legends can have between Battle Royale and Arenas. I'd never want to be in a world where someone says; 'never pick Crypto in Arenas because he's useless,' or 'you can only bring Rampart in Arenas because she doesn't do anything in the Battle Royale,' right? That I would step in and fix, but small things like, 'Oh, this guy does a lot better in Arenas.' And cool, that's f
