4. What Laser Hair Removal Technology and Machines Do You Use?
Finding out what technology clinics use will give you a good indication of the quality of the clinic. If a clinic has a wide variety of lasers and regularly keeps them up to date, it shows that they care about delivering the very best customer care, comfort and results.

7. How many Laser Hair Removal Treatments Do I Need?
Some customers may require multiple treatments before they see full results, some may require fewer. It all depends on your skin, hair, technology and area of the body. That’s why it’s important to always get an estimate after your patch test so that you can at least have a realistic expectation of the results.
Typically, the average person will require around 6–8 sessions for the full effects, however hair reduction is noted even after the first session. The laser hair removal process uses multiple sessions as it’s important to catch all the hairs at the correct stage of the hair growth cycle.
8. When Do I Need To Book In For A Session?
When you need to book your laser hair removal treatment is dependent on your timescale. If you have something pre-planned like an event, wedding or holiday, for example, you want to plan your treatment in advance by a few weeks.
As mentioned, 6–8 sessions is a typical amount of sessions per client, so you should ask the consultant about the plan if you are having the treatment for something specific.
9. Do I Need To Do Any Aftercare?
There are timescales when you shouldn’t do certain skincare or activities after laser hair removal. For example, it is not advised you go swimming, experience intense heat (saunas), or intense exercise in the immediate 24–48 hours.
