The Process
At your free consultation at Laserlife Clinic, your practitioner will discuss your desired outcomes and medical history, assessing your skin type to determine the most suitable laser—either the Alexandrite for lighter skin or the ND-YAG M for darker skin. Both methods are effective and long-lasting.
Alexandrite offers deep penetration ideal for lighter skin, while ND-YAG is preferred for darker skin with higher melanin levels.
Your practitioner will outline risks, conduct a patch test, and require a 24-hour wait to check for adverse reactions before beginning treatment.
If the patch test is clear, you can schedule your treatment plan. You have no obligation to proceed and can discuss any concerns with our knowledgeable practitioners.
On the day of your treatment, you’ll have the opportunity to address any last-minute questions with your practitioner. They will prepare the treatment area by ensuring it is clean and free of any products.
During the procedure, you will experience the cool blast of air from the Cryo Machine while the laser is applied to your skin, causing a tingling sensation.
After the session, your practitioner will apply a cooling gel and SPF sunscreen to soothe and protect the treated area. The duration of each session varies based on the area treated, ranging from 15 minutes to two hours.
