As of the 1.1 Thaw of Eons update for Wuthering Waves , we have gotten some new character banners announced. The first of these banners is for the character Jinshi. Jinshi is a spectro character who excels at being a primary dps and deals high Resonance Skill damage. She is a fantastic primary dps for your team if you’ve gotten her, and she gets some fantastic buffs from Spectro-based echoes.

It was a pleasant surprise for every Wuthering Waves player when the main character, who's given to everyone for free, actually turned out to be good in their Havoc stance. They can deal high damage with their basic attacks and Skill, which already makes them a great exploration candidate since you need as much regular damage as possi

However, you can also use her as the main DPS since her basic attacks can deal a decent bit of damage alongside her coordinated ones if you have them both upgraded. Her forte circuit also charges pretty fast when you're using her on-fi

When considering primary echoes, you’ll want the Inferno Rider echo for the Molten Rift Sonata Effect. Inferno Rider is a transformation echo like many others that will allow Changli to deal a ton of Fusion damage in a short amount of time. When long pressing the echo attack, you can enter a rider mode for an extra way to deal damage as well with the echo. Overall, this is the best option for the Molten Rift Sonata Effect and will be a fantastic choice for Changli’s primary echo.

The second option for the primary echo for Jinshi is quite possibly the better option of the two. This is the echo named Jué and when summoned it will traverse the air and will deal several variations of Spectro damage to nearby enemies. Upon summoning Jué, Jinshi will receive a 16% Resonance Skill damage boos t for 15 seconds . When the Resonance Skill hits an enemy, Jué will then inflict additional Spectro damage upon enemies.

When looking for a nice team for Jinshi, you’ll want to consider characters that use less field time than most characters. Jinshi will take up most of the time on the field and needs characters who excel at getting their rotation done quickly and efficiently. This is where Yinlin is going to come into play. She builds up energy fast, adds a marker on enemies so they take extra electro damage, and gets concerto energy quickly for a fast switch between characters. Yinlin is possibly the best dps partner you can pair with Jinshi and both synergize greatly with one another.

Jiyan was the first limited character in the game, and quite a few players got him because of the high amount of pulls given by the developers at launch. This character relies on Heavy Attack DMG during his Liberation for most of his damage, but he still deals a decent amount even with his Basic Attacks and Ski

A major part of making sure Changli is going to hit even harder after you’ve gotten your preferred weapon on her will be to get her some echoes as well. Depending on what you want, you might want to get all 5 echoes for the Molten Rift Sonata Effect buffs. However, you can mix 2 Molten Rift and 2 Lingering Tunes to gain buffs from both Sonata Effects. This won’t be as optimal, but it also works for other playstyle preferences if it's something you think would work best for you as a player. With the full set of 5 Molten Rift echoes, Changli will gain a 10% increase in Fusion Damage as well as another 30% increase when using her Resonance Skill . If you wish to mix Molten Rift with Lingering Tunes, you’ll gain a 10% Fusion Damage increase along with a 10% Attack increase . Both options here are very viable but the full set of buffs from Molten Rift is still just a little better for how Changli’s kit works around Fusion Damage.

If Yinlin or Jinhsi aren’t available for you to put into Changli’s team, Encore and Rover (Havoc) are very nice and easily accessible choices for you to bring in as well. Both Encore and Rover are solid characters that are capable playstyles with a lot of character swapping with Changli. Both characters are also very good at dealing damage while being easy to get ahold of. Rover (Havoc) will be given to you for progressing the story and Encore is a 5-star from the standard banner from the game.

Verina or Baizhi will be your best options for healing. Since Wuthering Waves collectibles Waves launched, they’ve been the two standout healers and are relatively close in how their kits operate. Verina is a 5-star that buffs the entire team, while Baizhi is a 4-star character only capable of buffing the next character swapped in. Neither will hit quite as hard as any dps, but it is still very nice if either one of them is on the team to heal up any damage that comes your way. Both healers have insanely quick rotations and will allow you to bring Jinshi back onto the field as fast as possible for more damage.
