우리가 교회에서 점심식사비용으로 내고 있는 돈의 일부는
인도에서 선교를 하고계신 김진 목사님을 통해서 인도의 한 학교를
지원하는데 쓰입니다. 작년에 70만원을 보냈고,
올해는 40만원씩 상반기/하반기 두번에 걸쳐서
 보내기로 목회운영위원회에서 결정하였습니다.

아래는 그 학교장으로부터 온 편지와 사진입니다.

           Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ

Subject:Your supports to the Pongtung Presbyterian Secondary School,KJP Synod Mihngi,through Rev.Dr.Jin Kim.

Dear Pastor and Members of the Church,

Pongtung Presbyterian Secondary School was established  by the Synod at Pongtung in the year 2005 with eight students only enrolled at that time while the present enrolment increased to sixty students.Pongtung the rural area where the school was situated is about sixty five  K.M. from Shillong town.Mostly peoples are poor,illiterate could not afford sending their children for education to far places.That’s why Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Mihngi established the school in order to raise and enhance the living standard of the people to higher humanity.The locality of the school is bordering with Bangladesh.Rev.Jin Kim visited twice  to our school while he was here in our state for our our reguest.

The KJP Synod Mihngi through the Managing Committee of the school have tried hard to invest for up bringing  the poor and needy but couldn’t reach its goal due to shortage of fund.It is the plan of God as the Bible says while Paul was in Troas Paul saw in a vision,there stood a man of Macedonia and prayed him saying,’come over to Macedonia and help us which in turn Rev.Jin Kim happened to pass to our North Eastern Part of India i.e Meghalaya even though far away from Nagpur but with his missionary vision and opened heart for the mission of God could willingly introduced your Church to extened financial support for Rs.5000/-(Indian currency)per month for two years i.e March 2010 –March 2012.

We cannot express your generous support,May God endows with his rich blessings and prosperity to you and all Members of Hyangrin Church.

It is through his Love,Jesus Christ though we couldn’t see each other yet spiritually we can see face to face,trust each other and work together.We do hope that your constant support wiil really help us to serve better the poor and the down trodden to bring love of Christ to them and enable us to change the present position of the Church.

We pray that God will continue to bless Church’s member,their work and their family

Last but not the least the school’s community made a welcom ceremony of Rev.Dr.Jin Kim visits to school on 16^th/March/2010 accompanied by Registrer of Martin Luther Christian University(Rev E.H.Kharkongor).Rev.Kim brought with his Gift like Television and DVD Tape on his visit to school.
